*NOT* FAMILY BIKE CAMPING
Kidical Mass Arlington wanted to go BIKE CAMPING at Marsden Tract on the C&O canal on the Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend (leave 5/27, return 5/28) for our May ride. But the forecast calls for nasty thunderstorms, and there's no shelter out there. So we're not camping, but we'll do the ride Sunday morning. All are welcome.
Planning over on our Facebook Page.
Details:
Meet up: Georgetown at 10am -- Fishmarket Square (corner of Grace & Potomac Streets). Parking is available on-street in Georgetown. Look for metered spaces that are free on Sundays (all metered spaces are free on Memorial Day)
We'll ride for a while and make some stops- riding either to Chain Bridge or to whatever point we feel like it within the Beltway. Then we'll either part ways or ride back to Gtown together. We'll aim to be back in time to get everyone inside before thunderstorms start.
Pack lunch to eat during a stop.
