Kidical Mass Arlington -- Let's Get This Party Started
UPDATED plan for the inaugural Kidical Mass Arlington ride...
Sunday, May 19: Meet at 11:30am, roll out 11:40am
Here's the route.
- Meet Lubber Run Community Center's playground (parking should be easy, if anyone wants to drive to the ride)
- Bike to Ballston, via W&OD and Bluemont Trail - 3.5 miles
- Eat lunch (~noon) **
- Bike back to Lubber Run (~1pm).
** Taste of Arlington is happening in Ballston noon - 5pm on Sunday. It's a great event. Lunch and the mini ride after lunch are completely optional, of course. Some people want to eat at a restaurant (like Vapiano) and some may want to eat at the festoval. Either way, you're welcome to head to the festival for lunch or after lunch.
It'll be helpful to have rough numbers, so if you know you're a yes or maybe, please leave a comment or let me know!
To subscribe to emails from Kidical Mass Arlington (mainly ride
announcements and reminders – managed through yahoo groups, so easy to

Note: I did some recon and I really don't like the "trail" along 50 or the hairpin turn to get from 50 down to the W&OD. So the planned route takes Park St across 50 (there's a light there) to get to the W&OD.
**THIS IS THE FINAL PLAN**
I'm in +1 for the ride but not stopping for lunch. Looking forward to it!
ReplyDeleteFYI, the kidicalmassarl@gmail.com email address failed for me: "Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently". Is that email address correct?
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know my daughter and I plan to be at the ride and lunch.

ReplyDeleteTruly, this article is really one of the very best in the history of articles. I am a antique ’Article’ collector and I sometimes read some new articles if I find them interesting. And I found this one pretty fascinating and it should go into my collection. Very good work! email marketing laws
