April 2017: RODEO Ride (4/29, 9:30am)

April showers bring... beautiful days for a bike rodeo! 

This Saturday, the Arlington Women's Club is again hosting a Kidical Mass Arlington, Phoenix Bikes, Bike Arlington bike rodeo. All are welcome at the rodeo -- 10:00a-12:00p at South Buchanan Street Arlington, VA

 If you'd like to roll to the party in style, join the Kidical Mass Arlington ride. We'll meet at 9:30am at Arlington Hall West park, and meander around the Barcroft neighborhood, ending at the bike rodeo.  This ride will be on the short side, with a few little ups and downs, but no challenging hills. The return ride to the park is short and easy.

Kidical Mass families are invited to stay to enjoy the festivities and to show off their own family riding set up.

Also, Phoenix will be collecting bike donations at the rodeo. Bring those bikes that are collecting dust and their youth mechanics will fix them up and get them to a new home! 

When: Saturday, April 29, 2017 Meet at 9:30am (we'll play at the playground for a few minutes, aim to roll out around 9:30am)

Meet:  Arlington Hall West Park, 290 S Taylor St (the playground, south of the parking lot)

Parking is easy at the park and on neighborhood streets. The ride back to the start is short and easy. All are welcome. The ride and rodeo are both free.
